
Apparswamigal temple situated in royapettah high road(opposite to sanskrit college,mylapore) houses samadhi(tomb) of Sri Apparswamigal who resided here and attained mukti, later his disciples built a temple on the tomb of Sri Apparswamigal.

The temple is well maintained with beautiful trees and flowering plants around the temple, on entering the temple jaya vinayagar has a separate sannidhi on the left side and crossing the needhi vinayagar, thaayumaanavar, navagraha sannidhi, in the moolasthanam shiva lingam marks the samadhi of Sri Apparswamigal, the lingam is said to be suyambu, guru bhagavan,veerabhadrar,vishnu,durgai can be seen around the moolasthanam, visalakshi amman,jaya subramaniyar along with valli devayani and sanniswarar also have seperate sannidhis.The huge peepal tree near the entrance has nagalingams and vinayagar beneath it.

Monthly paradhosham has a importance here as the pooja begin at 3pm - 5.45pm the nandhi is so cute as its small in size.Temple is situated near sanskrit college mylapore (exact opposite)
